🍎My Mom Is A Teacher

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 31, 2026

My Mom Is A Teacher (“the app”) is a free, ad-free tool that lets teachers create bookable sign-up sheets and meeting schedules and share a link. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We don’t run ads and we don’t sell your data.

Information we collect

  • Teachers (who sign in with Google): your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, and an OAuth token that lets the app create and cancel calendar events on your behalf.
  • People who sign up (no account): the name, email, and any optional note they enter when they take a slot.
  • Sign-up content: the titles, descriptions, dates, times, and slots you create.

How we use it

We use this information solely to provide the service: to show your sign-up sheets, record who has taken each slot, and create or cancel Google Calendar events (with the attendee added as a guest, so Google can email the invite). We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Google user data & Limited Use

The app requests access to create events on your Google Calendar (the calendar.eventsscope) only to add and cancel the meetings you create here. My Mom Is A Teacher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or sell this data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Storage & sharing

Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore. We don’t sell or share your data with third parties, except the Google services used to run the app (sign-in and Calendar). A person’s name and email on a slot are visible to the teacher who owns that sign-up.

Your choices & deletion

Children

The app is intended for teachers and adults organizing sign-ups; it is not directed to children.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above. Questions? Email support@mymomisateacher.com.
